Me and Alanna handled the permits,
we had the yard till 11p.m. and a sound permit till 9 p.m.
The sound permit was the hardest thing to get, from the local police station, they just dont issue anything after 9 p.m.
I fucked up, thinking no one from the building next door was going to call the cops.
I was also having problems with the power, every circuit in the yard was being blown by the 10 thousand lumina projector.
We had to re configure the sound system so we could get the juice from the generator.
The rear projector screen frame broke from the wind. By the time we sorted it all out, I knew we would go past 9 p.m.
I was late it’s my fault !
The cops biggest gripe was all the drinking, and that’s why they shut us down, 2 many brown baggers.
That’s the gist of it, the NYPD shut us down.

First of all fuck you A-Ron for posting that assholes email. You
posted mine and it became something special….now you’ve cheapened
everything. And to the dork who wrote that email blasting the Don for
bringing together all of downtown and putting a whole neighborhood on
the map, shame on you. So we got kicked out, so it wasn’t the
smoothest production for an event, SO WHAT?!! Man, oh man this is why
through all the bullshit and cliqueiness I still shop aNYthing….this
dude is actally doing something. You see, dickwad, the point is to
bring people together (check), let them have a good time (check),
promote the DVD (check) & and his own brand (check). Things took an
unexpected turn, sometimes shit happens when you put yourself out
there. You build a brand from scratch that commands as much attention
then send an email like that. And if I see another “hater” being
posted on the Glob I am burning down the store and next the office (I
figured out where it is).
