3 books from DECATHLON
at 12:28 PMDecathlon Books is a publishing company based in New York City that was found in 2008. Their objective is to produce a series of 10 publications featuring artists and writers whom they admire.

Their first book features The Gonz.

It’s called Emportant News and it’s all sidekick photos he had taken within a year.

Book no. 2 is Todd Jordan’s Sleep Talking.
Years ago, Decathlon knew Todd Jordan as a skater but then saw his photography here at the aNYthing store and were blown away. “The images in the book act as a kind of sideways portrait of the photographer who took them- we are able to look at the world as he sees it and understand something about how he thinks and feels.”

And no. 3 is Misaki Kawai’s The Alaskin. It’s all quirky funnies and fevered sillies. Like, This person to the right is wearing denim and it is morning because shes drinking orange juice and is obviously so mad at the girl with the pony tail because they are both upset and she has just slammed her orange juice on the table and it has just exploded.
