These pics are from political protest that Thailand went through the last couple months. These pics are from the last days of the protest when shit started hitting the fan! So the protesters were protesting so there political party demanded a election at the end of this year. Current government said no so it became a war zone. Look up Thaksin the former prime minster of thailand. He got over thrown for having more power then the king of Thailand like ten fith teen years ago.

So the former prime minster that lives in Monte Negro was funding all the protesters while the protest were going on about this time. This dude is so fuckin paid! He reminds me of the Bush Famron.

Patterson’s subjects were the extraordinarily inventive drag queens who performed at the club’s “Whispers” cabaret every Sunday night. Like his countless portraits of squatters, hardcore punks, junkies, rabbis, tenement dwellers, and beat cops, these photographs document—and celebrate—the denizens of a dynamic, radically diverse Lower East Side, a community that was in the midst of being profoundly impacted by the AIDS epidemic (and in the ensuing years, by the relentless gentrification and development of the neighborhood).
